Nervous Creature Sculpture
This is an original one of a kind air dry clay sculpture that has been painted with gouache and sealed with clear acrylic varnish. It is delicate! It will definitely break if you drop it, but it can be glued back together. It will ship wrapped in bubble wrap for safety. It was made to feel good being held and turned over in the hand, and would look nice on a shelf.
this one comes with a painted wooden box that can be used to display the sculpture in an interesting way!
This nervous little creature was the first sculpture I made intended to fit into the hand and be turned over. Half of the body (the side hidden when placed a certain way in the box) is green and moldy looking from being neglected. I think it represents my inner child in some way so it feels nice to hold and give it some love and attention. Also I dropped it and the head broke off so I glued it back on and now the skin around the neck is kinda weird and ripped looking which I think is really cool looking. It’s really heavy too, the weight is comforting.
