Dear Skin Chapter 1 Comic 44 Pages Limited Edition
YAY!! It’s finally here!!! This is the first chapter of my surreal psychological horror themed graphic novel Dear Skin. The story begins in winter, in the middle of a forest. Woodsy hermit ‘Paw’ and his granddaughter ‘Tawny’ have had difficulty finding food for several days and have gotten very hungry. They stumble across something unexpected and take it home with them. 44 page comic book, glossy full color pages. In the book are three new bonus illustrations made specially for this printing. Limited edition first printing of 100 comes with special merch! A full sticker sheet of Tawny’s various goofy faces from chapter one! There is a little box on the inside front cover that is blank, at checkout you can request a personal special message if you want, I can sign it for you and do a little doodle, or say hi to your friend if it is a gift! :) Comic ships flat in a photo mailer to prevent bending.
Intended for mature audiences. Story may contain animal gore, violence, existential themes and strong language.
Thank you for supporting this creation of this comic. I wrote, sketched, inked, hand lettered and painted all these pages myself! I am self publishing thru a local print company, packaging and mailing all these comics by hand. The higher price range makes up for the labor and helps me save money to print another round of 100 books. (I will be able to do that if I sell 30 out of 100!) My ultimate goal is to keep publishing individual chapters, and save up money to print the entire graphic novel (all 11 chapters together) into one massive hardcover book! I am still working on Dear Skin. 4 chapters are totally painted and scanned, almost 5 are inked and 8 chapters are sketched. I would really like to be able to finish sketching the entire story by the end of 2022. So far I am almost at 300 pages. This is a massive, labor intensive undertaking and I am loving every minute of it- but each pages takes around 6 hours start to finish!
